1. Websites using a customers logo as inspiration
I have created a number of original web designs based around, or inspired by,
a logo, publicity brochure or business card.
Using the basic design elements in the artwork that I've been sent, I try to come up with a design layout
that is both attractive and functional. For example on the Eating Your Way to Health website I replaced
the font used for the text "Eating Your Way To Health" with a standard web font instead of a graphic
image - to make sure that it could be picked up by Google and on the Romeo Register website
I added a keyword rich strapline to ensure that the site was
well received by the search engines.

2. Original Designs
La Couarde - Carp Fishing in France
Ashley came to me looking for a new design for his WebVilla website. He was using the Sea-shore design but didn't feel that this, or any of the other WebVilla designs, particularly suited his site or his property - La Courarde.
I discussed Ashley's requirements with him and we decided to use La Courarde's unique strengths (the house, the location and the carp themselves) as the basis of the new design. However, as no one photograph of La Courarde existed that 'said' everything we wanted to say, I created an original image using elements from 4 individual photographs.

Safe To Heal
Puja Louise Brown wasn't happy with the Glowing Sun design that she was using for her site. She had a very clear idea in her mind of what she did want and so sent me a 'mock-up' showing the colours and images that she wanted to use.
However, what initially seemed a fairly straight forward process of design transference very quickly developed into a tricky brain teaser as the colours that Puja wanted didn't translate well from print to web and the resulting page was difficult to read and uncomfortably 'garish'.
Puja and I explored a number of colour schemes together before finding alternative colours which would create the sense of drama that Puja required but would tone down the overall impact of the page and make it more 'accessible'. With the addition of some toning colours to unify the design and help the different elements work together (instead of fighting against each other) we achieved an end result that we were both happy with.
"I am more than pleased with the results of Debi's work on my website - she has a good eye for colour & design harmony, came up with original & stylish solutions to design & layout problems, answers to my questions were dealt with quickly, communication with her was easy & friendly & the whole process was completed in record time."
